***March 17th Update – They did not perform Daisy’s surgery yesterday! Getting started they noticed there might be degradation of the lower jaw bone and they were afraid that if they tried to do it all in one shot, her tiny lower jaw might fracture…
So we have scheduled her for dental x-rays NEXT Tuesday at the sister clinic in Morrisburg that has the proper machine, and then based on that they will either remove all the lower front teeth at once, or just some of them (and then plan for a second session later)
So we get to go through all of this pre-op worry again in a week… oh joy :-S Plus if there are two surgeries, we’ll have to raise funds later for the second session (& x-rays) Oh well, our little Ray of Doggie Sunshine Daisy is worth it! More news next week then.
We do not need any new funds for Daisy until we find out what the second surgery will be like, but Lizzie’s surgery still needs to be planned for. If you are able to assist, please contribute to her Chip-In! See our home page here:
